About MHR Design
Marian Rockwood has a degree in interior design and has been creating homes and commercial projects for over thirty years. She started MHR Design in 1995 and has completed projects primarily in Salt Lake City, Park City and Midway, Utah for local and national clientele. Marian specializes in custom residential design.
The greatest reward of my career is when clients express their love and appreciation for the environments we have created together. Just a few of those comments:

My Philosophy
My mission is to create homes that are harmonious, beautiful, functional and fun. The reward comes from not merely meeting my client’s expectations, but exceeding them. I encourage clients to share their wants, needs, hopes and imaginations for each room and the home as a whole, then I use this information to guide the direction and aesthetic of the project. Once the client’s hopes and dreams are understood, they become mine as well, taking form in mountain rustic, contemporary, traditional or transitional interiors. I like to start a project before the architectural plans are finalized, when there is still an opportunity to adapt the fundamental design to accommodate any special considerations or features. The process of creating is definitely a team effort involving client, architect, contractor and designer, and becomes a rewarding, and YES, even a “fun” experience. Creating timeless surroundings that envelope family and friends and that incorporate personality and aspirations is at the heart of MHR Design. I can’t wait to work with you.
